The Opportunity:

To extend our EMEA Specialist team we are now looking for an experienced Solutions Consultant - Technology. As a Solutions Consultant (SC) you are the technical business partner of Sales Account Managers supporting SuccessFactors’ business and revenue goals by bringing advanced technology and product knowledge into solution sales opportunities to assist the field in complex engagements across the EMEA region. The Technology specialist will provide expert level service to the wider field Sales Consulting community together with providing input on the qualification of prospects, and playing a significant role in the creation of business strategies to secure the customer win for SuccessFactors.

It is essential for Solutions Consultants to possess breadth and depth of knowledge in the Cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS) management domain.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work with local sales consultants and sales managers to establish specific account plans and strategies. Bring in additional resources as and when necessary.
- Conduct detailed architecture pitch/reviews by analyzing prospects’ requirements and propose the best possible
- Create and deliver demonstrations and presentations to IT and Data Privacy subject matter experts as well as C-level stake holders

- Manage the technical relationship with the customer and be SuccessFactors’ Subject Matter Expert for the Cloud/SaaS delivery model, IT-Security, Data Privacy and Integration.

- Provide enablement to broader Sales Consulting, Field Sales and Partner community.
- Provide on-going technical support to well-qualified prospects conducting evaluations and channel partners. This may include training, trouble-shooting, and best-practices consulting.
- Give input on customer needs to the Proposal Manager and on RFI/RFP’s as necessary
- Maintain expert level knowledge in your specific technology, solution or domain area
- Share knowledge across the team and continuously develop and enhance personal and team capabilities.

- Master and maintain detailed knowledge of SuccessFactors’ product-suite configuration options
- Collect, document and communicate product feedback, new requirements and competitive intelligence from the field
- Document customer business needs, implemented/configured processes, and any unresolved open action-items; deliver this documentation to Professional Services and Customer Success unit
- Support Legal with technical expertise in contract negotiations.
- Support the Global Compliance and Audit team with customer Audit requests as necessary.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

- Previous experience from a software vendor in a presales capacity, or a consulting background from one of the major system integrators in delivering enterprise solutions
- Experience developing and presenting clear and concise product customer solutions converting technical terms to business value.
- Experience from any of the following practices: IT-Security (ISO27000), Cloud Security (CSA/OWASP), European Data Privacy regulations (46/95/EC), Enterprise Data Integration (EDI) and Data Modeling, Web Performance acceleration principles.
- Experience in HR practices, HCM Software vendor or Cloud SaaS vendor preferred
- Experience in HTML/XML coding, Web Services and Single Sign On principles.

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Problem solving & Analytical Thinking

- Willingness to travel across Europe
- B.S. or M.S. or equivalent degree
- Fluency in English both written and verbal essential, plus one other local European language is an advantage.
