One important type of data for the near future will come from sensors that track the position of all players. If this huge amount of data can be analyzed in real time to provide instant insights into an ongoing game the competitive advantage would be tremendous. We are working closely with coaches, players and other staff from TSG Hoffenheim and the DFB to help realize these goals and come up with intuitive and easy-to-use tools that leverage the power SAP HANA to give teams a match winning advantage. As well as working with the latest SAP technology, you will have the opportunity to be part of a customer co-innovation project. Project team members are based both in Walldorf and Potsdam and as a student you can choose the location that suits you best. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As part of the Soccer Analytics Project Development Team, you will be working in one or more of the following areas:
- Core technologies such as SAP HANA
- State-of-the-art frontend technologies
- User-centered design process
WORK EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Student at a university or university of applied sciences
- Preferred field of study: Computer Science or a related field
- Very good web development skills (such as Java Script, HTML5, CSS)
- Good knowledge in SQL is beneficial
- Good German language skills and fluency in English language
- Strong team working skills Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships).
